About Derf's Program Page
Derf and I go back a long way, all the way back to my TRS-80 Model I and Wizardry I. He has handled the hacking and slashing and I have taken care of the keyboard. Derf usually is a fighter of some sort. He prefers Ranger or Archer but accepts the role of Knight or Thief. He is always Good. Over the years he has asked me to write quite a few programs to help him wander through many cyber dungeons. A lot of these were TSR's to show the x,y coordinates in old DOS games before the days of Automapping. Sometimes, he needed a teleport function for moving though walls too.
The programs on this page are ones that I have written for more modern games. I don't usually write out and out cheat programs since they totally ruin the games. I will add programs to this page as I write them but this may be very hit or miss. I play CRP games but I am most actively engaged in writing utilities for war games like Panzer General and Steel Panthers. If you are interested, you can visit Fred's Program Page. I am always looking for interesting programming projects (I don't do cracks) to improve the functionality or fun of games. Feel free to send an email with bug reports, ideas for new stuff, or just a thanks for writing this.
